Dental emergency? What to do in the first hour
A knocked-out tooth, a crack or a swollen face: a simple checklist while you're on your way to us.
Stay calm and call us first. Quick action often saves the tooth.
Knocked-out adult tooth
Hold it by the crown, rinse gently with milk, and place it back in the socket if you can. Otherwise keep it in milk and come straight away.
Cracked tooth
Rinse with warm water, apply a cold compress and avoid chewing on that side.
Swelling or fever
This can be a spreading infection. Call our emergency line immediately.
